About Yong He Soy Milk King
Yonghe Soy Milk King (Daan) is a legendary breakfast shop in Taiwan and the soul of Taiwanese breakfast.
Although the name “Yonghe” has almost become synonymous with soy milk in Taiwan, it originally comes from Yonghe District, New Taipei City, which is widely regarded as the birthplace of Taiwan’s soy milk breakfast culture. Over the years, its reputation has grown and now it has branches all over the country and even overseas.
In the bustling heart of Taipei, when the city is just waking up, there’s one place already alive with sizzling griddles, steaming soy milk, and hungry locals: Yong He Soy Milk King. This iconic breakfast shop has earned legendary status among both locals and tourists for serving up classic Taiwanese breakfast fare-hot, fast, and deeply comforting.
Yong He Soy Milk King is more than just a food stop. It’s a cultural experience. For decades, it’s been the go-to place for morning fuel, late-night munchies, and everything in between. Open 24 hours in many locations, it captures the soul of Taiwanese street food culture, where breakfast isn’t rushed but savored—bite by bite, slurp by slurp.
